Late Bloomers

A graphic for General Assembly's Data Visualisation workshop based on Malcolm Gladwell's New Yorker article 'Late Bloomers'. Orson Welles' made his masterpiece, Citizen Kane at 25 years of age, while Alfred Hitchcock reached the height of his abilities in his 60's. We compare the filmography of prominent director's across the 20th century and the IMDB user scores of their films, allowing users to compare and contrast the ages that each director reaches their artistic peak.
